Just wondered how disorientated it made you feel? Was it very bad?

TIA

'Tis Not Very Good.

More wobbly stomached on the pirate ship thingy.

Is that the Haunted house/Bair witch/sleepy hollow type ride?
Gives me a massive headache everytime I go on but I love it!

mosschops30 · 04/07/2007 17:25

Yeah thats the one, the one thats in the towers. Just wondered if I should give it a miss because I suffer from labrynthitis (wonder if I could close my eyes or does it spin?)

Also want to try Rita queen of speed and spinball whizzer, any opinions?

It is like one of those 'Haunted Swing' things.

The room around you moves one way and the thing you are sat on moves the other way.

PersonalClown · 04/07/2007 17:33

The problem I found with Hex is that I couldn't figure out if the seats were moving, the room or both! The seats don't move far (from what I could figure) but my head pounds everytime.
Shutting your eyes defeats the object of the ride, there is so much to look at as the room spins!
Haven't been in a few years so haven't been on Rita yet. I love Air and Black hole. My favs!

I love air too. Think the black hole has gone as its not listed anywhere on the site, I loved that ride.

Still unsure about Hex, maybe I will leave it til last

Hex - both the seats and the room move.

Not sure how you'd be with labrynthitis mosschops.

Black hole has gone now. Spinball whizzer is fab and Rita. Not keen on Air. My fave is Nemesis except last year we went and it got stuck at the top of the first climb and had to be wound back to the station lol.

I used to go to Alton Towers as it's on 20 odd minutes away from me. Plus ds worked at the Hotel for a while and had a free pass.

We had this conversation with friends recently.

He loves Hex; he has enjoyed figuring it out. He took a plumb line in and I think he said the seats move 15 degrees.
