Isn't Xylitol (an additive, not a brand) supposed to be good for childrens teeth? I think Boots own childrens brands have this in.

DD hates all standard adult toothpastes. Too minty for her. Have found Green People mandarin toothpaste is OK, but more expensive.

think the best thing is not to use fluoride toothpaste untill your child learns not to swallow it and can spit the residue out

think the real important issue is fluoridation in water-the day its in mine will be the last day i drink or cook with it

Jasper - you know I am not in agreement with you on that even though I respect your points of view and enjoy a good debate !!
My own dentist does not recommend fluoride for young kids either.... and now I have met - last week - another dentist (NHS!) who doesn't recommend it either ! I thought only my dentist was not following the "ranks" of the BDA....

pupuce many dentists loathe the BDA and most don't have much time for them. There is no such thing as a party line we all follow.
