I’m the first of a group of 26 year olds to have kids, I have 3 best friends which all refer to themselves as auntie to my little guy who is 9 months old.
One went mad and spoilt him on Christmas which was lovely and hugely appreciated (of course her choice) the other two got DS nothing.
Now, we didn’t go mad either as it’s DS first but I wondered if your single friends buy for your kids? How do you go about things? Do you care? Lol

Some do, some don't. One of our friends asked if they could stop buying presents for my husband and I, and buy for our baby instead, which we said was absolutely fine. If none of your friends Have babies, they probably haven't thought about it much. I don't expect anything from them, but will buy presents for the children of my closest friends when they have them.

Big noisy presents Grin

Are you sure the gift isn’t from all 3 of them?

I remember doing this, the first to have kids does get deluged, but I wouldn't read much into it - novelty value almost because buying kids stuff is fun
