Went to Whittington Park yesterday with massive playground and squirty fountainy things which kept mine amused for hours - and all for free!

Natt · 02/09/2004 15:11

Clown Town? (soft play - East Finchley - about £3 per child i think but younger one probably wouldn't count). Imperial War Museum? Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood is great, lots of activities and v near the tube...

SoupDragon · 02/09/2004 15:25

You can get a "one child free with full paying adult" voucher here for the Aquarium.

champs · 02/09/2004 15:27

Hendon RAF museum?
It's free and theres a handson educational twiddle with nobs and levers section.

Hulababy · 02/09/2004 15:31

No idea if the museums have anywhere specific to bf - didn't have to when we went. But they have cafes, etc. so can't imagine they'd be any problems. Might have more info of facilities on a website?

Our 2yo DD adored National History Museum and we spent ages and ages there, just looking at the animals, the ant colony and of course the dinosaurs. And they are free!!!

Oldest one would probably like Science Museum as there are lots of hans on things to do.

Infact both are close to each other - via the undergorund tunnel. And both are free. You could go to one in the morning, have lunch and then one in the afternoon!

Yay, it worked!

As well as the fountains, there's a big sandpit and all the usual playground stuff. Brilliant!
