I can paint the baby's room in lilac and blue, can't i??

I went and brought paint today, lilac for the girls room, and light blue for the DS' room, if there is enough left I was thinking about using the lilac and the blue in the baby's room, I don't know the sex, but it will be ok for a boy too, won't it??

Yes it will be fine. ds1 had stripes on one wall until he was 5 and some of those were a sort of lilac/purple colour, it was really nice!

It will look lovely, lilac is only light purple anyway!

DS1's room is lilac and blue. The lilac was the result of mixing the blue with white to lighten it!

it will be great very unisex, our nursery is cream with pink stripes as dh thought they would be girls - turns out one of each, but ds1 has decided that pink is his favourite colour anyway

We are only decorating the bedrooms to help the kids with the move about, atm they all have their own rooms, and as its a new build it actually doesn't need painting yet, but because of the baby, the girls are having to move into DS' room, and DS will be going into Dd2's room, with the baby going into dd1's room.
I just thought that maybe lilac would be a bit girly if its a boy

DS1's room has always been lilac and lime green (sounds awful but looks really good) so I think lilac and blue would be fine

my old bedroom used to be lilac and lime green, loved it

oh the carpet in the bedroom, that is currently dd1's room, but will be the baby's room, is lilac too, is that pushing it??

DS's walls are lilac. We painted before i was pg. He has blue curtains / lampshade / rug etc that make it more boyish. Carpet is cream. TBH don't think your little one will mind anyway .

lol, am 21 weeks now. We have to start moving the bedrooms around soon, and poor DH will be the one doing the painting hehe!!

didn't want to replace the carpet yet, as its only a year old.
