Need to end mobile phone contract early, but will have to pay the monthly payments for another 6 months. Is there any way around this?

I'm moving abroad and so need to bring my mobile phone contract to an end early. There will be 6 months left for the contract to run and I will have to carry on paying the monthly payments or a lump sum of £120. Is there anyway around this at all? I don't know anyone who wants to take over the contract for me, and really can't afford this extra cost.

Hiya,
I canceled my contract, basically because I was paying too much a month. I paid off the remaining 4months.

Thanks for replying
Paying the remaining 6 months of the contract is exactly what I wan't to avoid. I'm guessing there's no way round it then?

Theres no way around it..(i don't think..) The only thing to help reduce costs is to put the tarrif down to the lowest one and as you said, pay it in a lump sum or monthly..
