mil and fil are 60 both just retaired very well off have propertys all over
came to see us in may and asked the boys (aged 9 and 10) if they wanted to go on holiday with them for a week in july in their caravan (they were going for the whole of july and wanted dh to take the boys the 4 hr jorney). boys were exicted so said yes
got a phone call end of may to say they were going in june instead as it was £100 cheaper so couldnt take the boys boys were ok about it not too bothered

It annoys me as I actually don't have the money to spend on (gasp) maternity clothes.
I am probably more generous to others than these people as well, be it with time, possessions (lending baby stuff etc) and effort.

poor boys, I hope it's more you feeling bad for them rather than them feeling bad. Actually sounds a bit like my dad.

like i said they are not really bothered its more the point (to me)
anyway we are taking them away to spain for 2 weeks and there other nana is having them for a week so they wont miss out on a holiday
