Off to Salcombe for hols with ds (13 months) and dh a week on Friday. Trying to plan in case of rain. Have found so far: a sea life centre and indoor pool. Also Paignton zoo for a non-beach day (still not great for rain though)
Any other ideas please Devon holiday makers

AM sooooooo looking forward to it. Hope it will be dry as ds will love exploring the beach even if it's not sunny. HAve just seen the Buckfastleigh place, didn't realise it had otters too, lovely.

Paignton zoo's not too bad in the rain - there's quite a lot indoors & the trees keep you fairly dry too.

The House of Marbles at Bovey Tracey is good - they have massive marble runs & a nice cafe,as well as the glass works.

I was thinking about planning our hols around a huge cream tea hunt. I also have a rule of a minimum of one ice cream a day on hols. Marble place might be nice for little man too
