oo! i love those songs... my fave is

Have you brushed your teeth?
Have you washed your face?
Have you picked up all of your toys left all over the place.....

sigh! cbeebies seems to be out of favour with dd at the moment... since she got a Barney dvd as a pressie a couple of weeks ago... i'm not amused!!!

Tommy · 24/08/2004 21:07

I've recently discovered that DH sings that to DS1 after his story.... He's always telling me that he can't sing (DH that is - DS1 sings all day )

They are definatley not like any kids i know! We always sing the 'I love you...' Barney song at bedtime, ahhh!!

peachypie · 24/08/2004 23:35

hi all 006 i thought all the kids are rather strange on barney too i dont like saying it but all the boys act very "camp" actually so is barney now i come to think of it. sorry barney lovers

bea · 25/08/2004 09:40

they just drive me absolutely crackers... and barney is such a horrible creation... why does dd gravitate towards really irritating stuff... she was given the Rainbow video as a pressie too and she loves this... rod, jane and freddy can drive you loopy after the zillionth watch!!!... why not Pingu? (who i think is very funny and will quite happily watch!)

motherinferior · 25/08/2004 09:42

Barney makes me feel physically ill.

Fio2 · 25/08/2004 09:43

uurrrggghhh! I HAT BARNEY

yes 006 I think the kids are possessed in it!

Fio2 · 25/08/2004 09:44

I HATE HIM, even!

Sue and Sid off cbeebies, you CANT SING stop it!

earlygirl · 25/08/2004 10:02

is it on ccbeebies site?
here

Cadbury · 25/08/2004 10:10

At least Sue and Sid sing like normal people, not polished caberet acts that went to 3 different stage schools. They sing like I do (out of tune sometimes!

coppertop · 25/08/2004 10:25

Sarah-Jane and Vijay (sp?) from Tikkabilla. Aaaaarrrrggghh! If ever there was a case against stage schools it's those two. When you close your eyes they even sound the same.

Fio2 · 25/08/2004 10:29

its sue when she does that 'welocome to my pink room, my pink room, my pink room, so much more to dibberdy doo, in whatever' it just goes through me and then I keep singing it allll day

Cadbury dont worry I sing out of tune too

My son thinks 'Crisps' ie. chris sings well

coppertop · 25/08/2004 10:34

Thanks, Fio. I now have the "pink room" song stuck in my head.

Poor Chris can't quite seem to manage the high notes in his "blue room" song, which causes much cringeing in the otherwise tone-deaf coppertop household.
