We exchange and complete on our house sale next week. Then I will be homeless that is when I am moving into the cupboardless place.

Then my lovely new build with storage cupboardsand a utility room shall be in the process of being built.

we are just waiting for our completion date on the sale of our house. We are moving into a new build which is finished. Ours sounds similiar to yours fimbo. 3 floors aswell, will need lots of stair gates. Whats your layout?

Fimbo · 13/06/2007 13:15

Hi Yogimum.

Ground floor-kitchen, utility room, dining room, downstairs loo.

Middle floor-main bedroom with ensuite, 2 other bedrooms and bathroom.

Top floor-bedroom, study (big enough to be another bedroom), and shower-room.

What's yours?

fimbo where's your living room? Ours is similar. ground floor is kitchen dining room, utility room, downstairs loo.

Middle floor is living room, our bedroom with ensuite, and another loo!

Top floor is three bedrooms, one will be the study, and family bathroom.

Originally we looked at a slightly different layout on the middle floor but this one is just as nice. Good luck!

Oops forgot about the living room - its on the ground floor.

We have to go on Saturday to choose our options (kitchen, bathroom tiles etc). They said it takes over 3 hours . Have had to farm the dc out to friends!

thats great that you get to choose. Ours was already finished luckily I really liked the tiles etc. We have to do the floors, carpets etc. The kitchen is tiled really nicely, not sure what to choose though for all the rest of the house. I'd probably laminate the dining room and carpet all the rooms except the hall. Buying lots of mags to get ideas!
