Learn to drive

Get a job/go to college

Eat a better diet

Be happier

Then this time next year I can sit here with the choice of going out to celebrate and just gettijng in the car and driving off, or inviting all of my new friends from work/college out, and I'll perhaps be a bit lighter too

Lose three stone and get fit....

Learn how to reverse park rather than keep driving around block in gibbering hysterics until I find a space the size of heathrow to pull into......

NuttyMuffins · 10/06/2007 19:36

my friend did exactly that when we went out on friday, and her mum used to do the exact same thing.

Have a better diet

Find my stomach muscles (they must be in there somewhere)

Be running a successful business

NikkiBFG · 10/06/2007 19:37

Its v embarassing...I passed my test in 2000 but I'm a nervous driver and parker... what doesn't help is that I'm deaf so I don't hear if I've hit/scraped anything when I'm parking.....I just feel it but don't know how bad it is until I get out and check!!!

NuttyMuffins · 10/06/2007 19:37

Oh lots of peope with driving ones then

Was going to put 'get a new bloke' on my list, but might jinx it then LOL.

What a nice positive thread .

I will:

  • eat more healthier
  • keep on top of my housework more & be more organised (note to self: keep checking FLY threads)
  • enrol at college to look at becoming a classroom assistant
  • umm think that's it for now!!
Steward · 10/06/2007 19:50

Yes it looks like everyone wants to learn to drive, me included.

NuttyMuffins · 10/06/2007 19:51

I am just hoping that I get back from my first lesson and love it so much that I can't wait for the next one, otherwise i will feel sick every week until i pass.

NuttyMuffins · 10/06/2007 20:50

Yes i think you are right, bit like sex, you might not always fancy it, but once you get going it is ok LOL.
