A friend recommended freecycle to me and as I was clearing the garage gave it a go.

I also put a wanted advert in for some clothes for my DS as he is just growing so fast and needing more clothes and can't afford much at the moment.
I had a reply from someone about 20 miles outside my area and she said she would drop them over to me next time she was nearby.

Got a parcel today of the clothes which were fab and an email to say she thought she would post them so I got them sooner .

It cost her £5 to post them and was over whelmed by this lady's generosity and DS loved them.

Love it, love it, love it PPS.

Have you ever noticed that in the English language, you can be overwhelmed and underwhelmed, but you can never just be whelmed.

Anyhow, I'm really pleased that it all turned out so well. There are more generous people in the world than not, I alway think.

Sorry, I'm the sort of sad-sack that always looks these sort of things up. Anyway, use "whelm" with impunity Desiderata the next time you have to describe something being submerged.
