Oh My God - Did Anyone See....

Did anyone see that programme on channel 4 about 50 greatest kids TV moments. There was a programme on in the eighties where little girls were dressed in skimpy clothes wearing way too much makeup singing songs about "When we last made love" etc. These little girls would have been around 6 or 7 and they looked like little Lolitas.

How this programme was not banned I don't know. Call me a prude but I was shocked.

Did anyone else see this?

Mini Pops! Yes - it was utterly dreadful!!Absolutely unbelievable!

I wouldn't have thought it a good idea to show a repeat clip of it though would you?

i used to love mini pops when i was a kid but was very very disturbed by what i saw on this programme

I felt really nauseous watching it.

I'm obviously more naive than you lot. We used to watch mini pops back in the 80s before it was banned & I thought it was sweet! (Didn't see the recent clip & it was pre-children!)

unicorn, they possibly showed the clip as if they had described the show those who hadn't seen it may have thought they were exaggerating somewhat!

I can remember watching it a couple of times, I must have been about 11 but hated these mini-harpies murdering my favourite pop songs. Much prefered watching Fame. I had no taste!

I saw it and I couldn't believe the amount of makeup that the little girl had on! I didn't really watch it as a kid as it wasn't my sort of thing and I can see why now.
