Sounds fine. My two (who admittedly are very close in age) love sharing. Bunk beds are cool.

edam · 31/05/2007 18:41

Sounds very sensible, bet both of them will really enjoy it.

my 7 year old is always asking to share a room with her 2 yr old sister. It sounds like a fine idea to me

Greensleeves · 31/05/2007 18:44

It sounds like a lovely idea to me, as long as the 8yo agrees. My two (they're two years apart though) love sharing, in fact when we moved house I assumed they would want a room each and was put straight by ds1 - we will be sharing, thank you very much Mummy . So they share the master bedroom and they love it.

Biglips · 31/05/2007 18:44

yes i think thats the best thing to ask her.

My DS(7.5) and DD(2) share a bedroom. No problems at all and DS doesn't feel embarrassed or annoyed to be sharing with his little sister. We have an extra bedroom which we use as a playroom and would change into a bedroom for either of them if this arrangment doesn't suit them anymore.

Surfermum · 31/05/2007 19:20

DD (4) and dsd (11) have shared a room since dd was about 6 months' old with no problems.

I think lovely, really nice for them both (as long as they both want to, of course)
