Can you wash a "My First Baby Annabel"?

Has anyone tried putting one in the washing machine? My dd2 has taken to carrying it everywhere with her and refuses point blank to have any clothes on the dolly, so as a result it's getting pretty dirty. Can't see a "do not wash" warning on the label, but just wondered if anyone had washed one?

Is this the one without batteries, if so I have washed it on a wool cycle and line dried it. Hope this helps.

Thanks Clairabelle, yes it's the one without the batteries! Great, I will stick it on a gentle wash! Mind you, it is rather tempting to wash the Baby Annabel WITH batteries ... not sure how dd1 would react to that though!
