Social Services called me the other day and told me they wanted an urgent meeting i was distressed to say the least.Wheni went to the meeting they told me they where looking at putting my children on the child protection register because of my partners past apparently they had been contacted by the police. my partner is not the man he used to be and i dont no what to do. My children are everything to me but also love my partner what would you do. Fight it or give it up

I agree and understand about it being hard -I don't envy you having to deal with this, but I would have to put the kids first. Also, I don't agree with the 'people change' thing (definately not in only 6 years anyway) - I've heard it far too many times.

u need to get a solicitor and independent advice fast

at risk placement is not undertaken lightly, has something come up on records search of ur partner past

convene a meeting, fully cooperate - what is goin on

Do you not think there's something odd about your daughters 'boyfriend' being your partners son anyway?

I have a solicitor and i have always put my children first. As for it being odd well it actually works quite well
