how do i check the car seat is fitted properly?

i'm using a different car seat to normal tomorrow, what should i be checking to make sure it is fitted properly?

that it doesn't move around when it is strapped into the car. wobble it sidesways and forwards/backwards. there can be a bit of sideways movements but the more static the better fit it is. Remember to kneel on the car seat whilst pulling the seat belt taught to maximise the taughtness of the car seat belt.

No buckle crunch - the actual seat belt buckle should not rest against the frame of the car seat.
