Which one would you recommend for my daughter's 1st birthday present?

Honestly I wouldn't bother with either. DS (nearly 2) has had his VSmile baby for 12 mths and NEVER EVER plays with it - except to push the console around like its a train.

The graphics are rubbish too.

In fact ours is so unloved, if you really want to try one, I'll sell you it along with the 3/4 games we also have

We have a 'BabyWOW' dvd that was much cheaper and that DS has shown much more interest in, much better value for money IMO.

PavlovtheCat · 26/05/2007 13:47

well, that has sold it to me!!!
Its a shame, as I really thought they looked good! But, my DD is a busy DD, almost walking, so well, maybe she wont sit still enough to play with it, apart form like a train like your DS!!

I would consider 'buying' yours from you, to give it a go without the expense, and then if she does not use it either, I have not paid a ridiclous price for it and, you know, give it a good home....... How much would you want for it?

Washersaurus · 26/05/2007 15:28

Didn't mean to put you off - but it is a lot of money to spend on a new one to find that they aren't flippin' interested!

I haven't got the box for ours but we have 3 games: Baby Einstein World of Discovery, A Day on the Farm, and, Learn and Discover Home.

I will sell it for £28 including postage if you want it?

Wash -no dont apologise I think you are probably right...Let me talk to DP and see what he says about buying it... I am very persuasive at times!

Washersaurus · 26/05/2007 18:11

No worries; I had forgotten we even had it until I saw your post, as it has hardly been used. Just let me know if you do want it, otherwise I suppose I should do something with it - rather than just have it sat in a cupboard

PavlovtheCat · 27/05/2007 10:21

Do you have instructions for it?

Washersaurus · 27/05/2007 10:43

I can't find them in the cupboard but they are available as pdf doc here www.vtechkids.com/_f/_pw/_manual/VSmileBaby.pdf

I bought a Little Leap thing for DD's 1st and 2nd birthday and really wished I hadn't bothered. Both stopped working within a week of giving them to her. They are a waste of mney imo
