We have been visiting the Collie place in Colton and are very impressed with how the place in run and the dogs etc, however, at present they have nothing suitable.

Could you recommend another place to try in and around Stafford - we went to Gnosall yesterday and thought how discusting and heartbreaking the place was, just about to go to Bucknell (near hanley).

The thing is having gone to the collie place I was very impressed with them and believe that is the best place to get one from.

We found one dog who is perfect, she 1 years old and is full of life and appears to be toilet trained and the kids love her, the only problem is, they think she is pregnant, so we won't be able to have her.

Any advise - keep looking elsewhere or wait for Colton to find one ????

Golds, if you like the place then I would stick with it, there is bound to be some lucky dog turn up that is just right for your family. Also these breed rescues tend to keep in touch with other centres around the UK and sometimes Ireland.

Would they not want a home for the one you like once she has had and whelped her pups? She'll need a lovely home to go to and I am sure they and she would appreciate knowing she has a good future (plus you can always visit her often.)
