depends where you live
size of your house
how many people in your house
if you are in the house alot or out ar work all day
if your a cold person or a hot person (i'm a cold person so have the heating on alot)

erm, I am going to generalise (as if you have seen my other thread you will see I am in the process of being left by a feckless prat) and I am buying a new house.

Its likely to be terraced, 3 beds, double glased, I will have the heating on in the evenings in winter, and in the mornings while we get ready in winter but other than that it will be a case of get a jumper on (or a blanket!)
