High School Musical The Ice Tour - anyone else going to see this?

DD is very excited already, lol!

I noticed an ad for this on the Sheffield Arena website last week but no tickets were available. I then got a postcard for it through the door today. Tickets now on sale, although says for general public it is 4th June.

Yet again seats available on line were not that great so phoned, and got some better 1st tier prices. Again all the very best seats are already gone - just like with Disney on Ice - presumably to large group bookings. Grrr! So if you want tickets phone now!

Do have tickets now for Saturday 19th January, for the matinne. So DD is very happy

Anyone else going to this tour?

NuttyMuffins · 23/05/2007 16:25

Oh well, doesn't look like it is on in Brum anyway.

collision · 23/05/2007 16:25

NuttyMuffins · 23/05/2007 16:27

It was a musical film done by Disney. Quick breakdown -

Our hero is a basketball player, wur heroine is a maths whizz. The sing karaoke at new year then , they meet at high school where horrid drama teacher is having a musical. They try out, hack off the resident basketball people, academic people and drama people. Everyone realises they've been horrid to them and help them to sing at the call-backs. Everything's wonderful and the whole school sings at the end - everyone has to wear red and white.

its pants

NuttyMuffins · 23/05/2007 16:33

I can only find one site who have NEC on their list of venues, but don't really want to book with themn if the NEC won't confirm it is staging the event.

Ticketmaster isn't showing up with NEC or anywhere near us.

gscrym · 23/05/2007 16:33

I love it .

Hulababy · 23/05/2007 16:35

Nutty - is this the site you found. That definitely says NEC early January.

Hulababy · 23/05/2007 16:36

Mind you that link doesn't have Sheffield Arena on and it is definitely playing there, as I have tickets.

NuttyMuffins · 23/05/2007 16:36

Yep thats it Hula, but am a bit worried about booking it if the NEC won't confirm it.

NuttyMuffins · 23/05/2007 16:37

Don't phone Nutty, go into Symphony Hall and pay cash, you'll save the booking fee.
