how much would you be prepared to pay?

i take in ironing and ic harge 75p per single clothing item
50p childrnes clothing item
£1.50 for sheets etc
£2 pick up and deliver - 24hr turnaround

etc

Tutter · 23/05/2007 12:17

i pay the same rate as for cleaning (£10 per hour) but consider this pretty generous

fireflyfairy2 · 23/05/2007 12:19

I'd love someone to do my ironing.

It's getting bloody ridiculous at the minute, despite me not working

jellybellie · 23/05/2007 12:43

We have somebody to do our ironing and they charge pretty much the same as nailpolish listed earlier except I don't pay for pick up/deliver. I don't care how much it costs to be honest - I HATE ironing (and the waste of time it takes to do) with a passion!!

cheeryface · 23/05/2007 13:37

so, nailpolish, how many items do you average in an hour then of say adults stuff?

sorry if nosy but tis very helpful

My lady does two baskets for £14 and brings them back the same night.

nailpolish · 23/05/2007 14:36

i maybe do 20 shirts in an hour

NoodleStroodle · 23/05/2007 14:37

Whatever she asked.
We are drowning in unironed clothes and all look really crumpled.

nailpolish · 23/05/2007 14:37

shirts take longer tho
maybe 20-25 of mixed adult stuff, t shirts, shirts, trousers etc

cheeryface · 24/05/2007 13:48

thanx for that

20 shirts in an hour sounds very fast!
