Ashamed of my toilet...........

My toilets are revolting. No matter how many 'power blocks' I stick down there, how much coke I stick in there, there is nothing that works apart from emptying them and scrubbing and scrubbing to get the limescale off and it takes forever. Has anyone got any magic solutions they could share with me? (I know this is a bit sad but I would love a sparkling toilet for less effort)

We could organize a cleaning swap! Juniper and I will be the toilet team; I'll do my part of the cleaning in exchange for some ironing or general straightening or anything else, really.

OK: this is my theory (based on having moved into a house where the limescale had plenty of depth to it!). It's not the acid you use, but the amount of limescale that makes the difference.

You put the first lot of blocks down, and it starts to eat away at the limescale. But if there is loads, there eventually comes a point where the dissolved alkaline limescale balances out the acid in the block, so no more can be dissolved. You have to scrub, flush, and start on the next layer with new blocks.
Could this be you problem, Welshmum?
