What's the best swimming pool near to st albans please?

hi all, am wanting to take the kids swimming this afternoon and have just moved to St Albans. was wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere that's baby/toddler friendly, particularly water temp as my ds2 is only 18mnths and completely nesh when it comes to cool water!!! our old pool in crouch end was like a hot tub!!! i don't mind travelling a bit. thanks.xx

Have you tried the St Albans pool itself (Westminster Lodge)? Used to be rather too grubby for my liking, especially the changing rooms, but perhaps it has improved (we moved away last year).

If you're willing to travel further afield, Hitchin baby pool has really warm water, but the changing rooms are cramped and not baby-fiendly IMO. Letchworth is a nicer pool (with cleaner, more baby-friendly changing rooms), but the water is quite cool (lovely hot showers though).

Avoid Biggleswade at all costs - freezing water!
