and now we have a garden. oh dear. best go hutch shopping next week then. the rabbit can wait a little while til the weather cools off a bit and i figure out where the coolerpart of the garden is (dont want the poor thing basking in direct sun all day)

Misdee, Jessie's mum had some baby rabbits recently, maybe you could ask her if she has any left.

I got a rabbit for my Ds when he was 2 years old, he is now 4.5 years old and has always totally adored his rabbit, he is an olly child and will play in the garden for hours with the rabbit. Hutches can be quite expensive, unless you know someone like I did (my dad) who built one. He even helps muck him out, giving him a sense of responsibility. Rabbits are great ~ enjoy.
