Strange Q but... what would you wear to Elton John concert?

DH bought us tickets to see Elton John next week in Sheffield. I've never been to a 'big' concert before and wondered what to wear, one in terms of style and two in terms of comfort. Will it be cold or hot in there? Was thinking of black skinny jeans, knee high boots and a strappy top, but is this too much? Don't want to look as though I've made too much of an effort but don't want to look as if I haven't bothered at all!

DH and I haven't been out on our own for a long time so want to look good! But not OTT - this is not for Elton's benefit!

Great minds...

FLIER - we're sitting. We're about 18 rows from the front.

doesn't matter what you wear then in terms of comfort, so i'd go as glammed up as you like. Your outfit sounds fine to me.

Hope you have a fantastic time, though. We saw him in Glasgow about 4 years ago and he was absolutely fantastic - a real professional showman - didn't even take a break.

Are these big venues usually cold? or hot?

cold when you first go in, IME, but you soon warm up. I am a person who always feels the cold, you could you take a black cardi or denim jacket with you? Thats what I normally do.
