Renault Scenic - which car seat fits?

We have a Scenic and want to buy a forward facing car seat aged 3+. Basically want to get a booster seat that has a back to it but which make of seat fits? We tried a Graco today but it just didn't lock in properly. Any help gratefully received. Thanks

Are u anywhere near milton keynes? There is a place called incar saftey centre they will fit it and also sell it and they are impartial?

We have the mothercare portable car seat which is basically made of polystyrene so very light and easily transferred from car to car. I know this fits in a scenic as my friend has one with the same car seat. It doesn't actually need to be fitted. You just secure with seatbelt as you would an ordinary booster. My three year old uses this now as his main car seat. It is great as he still has head support if he falls asleep in the car on longer journeys.

Have a rummage through kiddicare . They have loads - don't know what will fit though...

The Britax site has a fit finder. Click on choosing and fitting, then on fit finder (on right of page). You just type in which car you have and weight of child and it shows which of their car seats would fit. For a Scenic they recommend:

Scenic 5 Door 1997 2003 Club Class Extra, Eclipse, Elite, First Class, Freeway, Renaissance, Trio

Scenic 2003 Eclipse, Elite, First Class, Freeway, Renaissance, Trio

We use a Maxi Cosi Rodi in ours.

Not answering your question I know, but would you reccomend the Scenic. We're thinking of getting one but I read in Which? car guide that it wasn't a good ride and the Nissan Tino (or something was a better bet)
