Email/text Sender's Remorse - who has experienced it?

Have you ever sent a business or personal email/text that you wish you hadn't sent? I'm talking about the kind of careless/impulsive/emotional email that could have lasting ramifications for your personal or professional life. Have you ever received an email/text you shouldn't have?

I'll start. I used to do an International job, and had asked for reports on a specific project so I could summarise the project's status for the chairman. The Austrian Director forwarded my email request for information to various departments with his own comments added....in German. He mistakenly copied me on the note. I don't speak/read German, but sensed something was going on, and took the email to a colleague who could translate. My colleague turned red and spluttered as he read the note - which was essentially a long moan about how crap it was to waste time compiling information for head office. Needless to say - he was grovelling on the phone a few hours later!

Your turn......

I was sat at an ex's (then DP) house with his mother watching eastenders while he was out on the green playing football. I was ever so pissed off (as you would be)and text to my best friend 'i don't know what im doing here, he's a f*ing idiot, hes got a small d*k anyway'... only i sent it to the DP instead....and he had his phone turned off and never turned it on till the am, so I had to wait all night knowing what was going to happen in the morning.
Needless to say I caused a huge row and left!

I've also sent dirty text messages to a housemate by accident when drunk (they were both next to each other in the phone book), he got used to it in the end!

Someone called it a "ohnosecond" i.e. that moment when you realise you have sent it to the wrong person

I've hit the 'reply' button a couple of times instead of 'forward' which has resulted in embarrassing comments as to the content of the senders email being immediately relayed back to them.
A common schoolboy error at work is to hit the 'reply to all' button when responding to an all office type email sent by a PA requesting info as to dietary preferences etc.
