Anyone posted anything bulky to New Zealand without it costing hundreds of pounds?

i need to send a parcel that will be about as big as a rucksack wrapped up, and I don't want it to take more than a couple of weeks. Any suggestions gratefully received....

how heavy is it?
problem is sending the economy way takes ages - we're waiting for a video camera at the moment, has already taken over a month - and you can't track it.

it's 3 kilos, so bigger than royal mail will take airmail. i guess i'll need an indpendent shipping co but i think there are loads..
