Shaken up from driving road rage incident

Today I had an awful driving experience that has really knocked my confidence.

I joined a mini roundabout turning left and admittedly I should have been more cautious but the car opposite me wasn’t indicating right, so when I pulled out (and he actually was turning right) he had to slow down the TINIEST bit. And I mean tiny. I still held my hands up and apologised even though he should have indicated.

He then followed me flashing his lights, pulled up the inside of me on the next roundabout almost pushing me off the road, forcing me to slow down. Sped infront and then he slammed on the breaks, blocking the road and I had to emergency stop. He then got out his car and was banging on the window shouting at me. The cars behind started beeping and he went up to then shouting “** you all!!!” And banging on their windows too! Then people started to overtake him and he got back in his car and nearly rammed into two cars as they were overtaking him. So so dangerous!

I had my 4 month old baby in the car and I feel so shaken up. Can’t stop replaying it in my head and I’m scared I’ll see him again

Only natural that you're shaken up esp with DC in the car. Did you happen to get a number plate? I would be reporting it to police if you can. Chances are you will never see this person again or experience anything like this any time soon. There's always some dickhead around who thinks they're entitled to behave like a screaming toddler not getting their own way. Try to relax! You will be shaken and keep replaying it in your head for a while but it's like anything - it will fade soon

Get a dashcam - they're not that expensive and then you'll have proof if anything like that happens again. The driving of some of the idiots on the roads is frightening. It's scary how many are driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol too.

He sounds like a nutter! He was in the wrong. Try to put it behind you

If he had indicated right, non of this wouldn't have happened. Don't blame yourself or let it upset you, you're in the right x
