Sorry to raise this, but I've put up with it for long enough - dh cannot seem to realise that towels are for drying oneself on and bottoms need wiping with toilet paper - how do i deal with this without sounding petty and embarrassing dh?! (and tell me Im not the only one with a disgusting husbznd!)

tex, I love Japanese things like that.

What a gadgetty place

And I thought the nails DH leaves lying around the sink (after he has rinsed them all away!!) was gross and irritating. To those of you out there who has boys - it is up to you to make sure they grow up into nice clean men smelling of soap (and not dowsing BO in aftershave - very ex boyfriend)

Revolted, what happened??

jampot · 15/08/2004 17:51

I'm very sad to report that this thread has had me rolling on the floor laughing - sorry !!!

jac34 · 15/08/2004 18:13

Thankfully my DH is very particular about his bathroom habits and is very clean. He spends ages in the shower, but costs me a fortune in soap(will only use Johnsons baby soap), I'm lucky if a bar lasts him a week !!!
However,I just can not stop him "freshening up" his willy, with my facial, cleansing wipes. I have tried to point out that they are much more expensive than baby wipes, but he says they feel and smell so nice.

coppertop · 15/08/2004 18:15

ROFL at Jac's dh using facial wipes as willy-washers!

Still creased up at this thread! So - I laid it on the line, waved a skanky skidmarked towel in his face and said it was time he learned to wipe his bum properly, that's what toilet roll is for (even ds aged 5 can do a better job!).
He took HUGE offence, and told me not to make a song and dance about it and we didn't speak for the rest of the day! But really he had taken it onboard and (so far) the towels have been skidmark free, hoorah!
Now I just need him to stop leaving the soap covered in pubes ...

revolted just think how much more outraged he be if knew we were all talking about it!!

acnebride · 16/08/2004 12:37

OK, honest truth here and i haven't read the whole of the thread - but i sometimes find that i do this, by mistake obviously. i won't go into reasons why as i think they'd be excuses! - but if i were you why not ask him straightforwardly to check his towel after he's dried himself and if there are any stains could he please put a wash on.

i think some people don't think that towels need to be washed much.

acnebride · 16/08/2004 12:38

sorry that was a comment about my dh really, not any of you!

Twinkie · 16/08/2004 12:46

(DP raids DDs Kandos I am sure of it - either that or DD's bottom eats them!!)
