Just think what a small area your feet cover and then at the end they're split into five little bits and yet they hold up anything from 2 - 50 stones.

They're a real marvel.

Apparently if you have your big toe amputated its impossible (or maybe just incredibly difficult??) to walk.

That might be an urban myth though as I'm not sure of the source of that snippet of info

yes, esp me - am 5'8" and only have size 5s

(that's why i used to fall over so much - nowt to do with wine)

and of course Tutter you're currently a bit front heavy - so even more incredible
