HELP swarm of wasps in conservatory HELP

Really dont know what to do, they are everwere, Dh is frantic , spraying insect spray everywere. DD is in bed at the mo , but we cant let her in there. AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH, IM sittig away in my littleoffice here trying to not get panic attack !!!!

Keep spraying, also worth calling pest control agency as they can still sting you when they are dead.

Are the windows closed in conservatory and how big is the swarm? Are they agitated?

Weve shut the doors and the windows now and DH is hoovering all the possible gaps in the joins!! Were not sure if theres a nest. They seema littel agitated my mum reckons its the heat today making them a bit looopy. CREEEPPPPEEEEEE im feeling all oooockkkee.

Sounds like there may be a nest nearby.

Hang on and i'll go consult Dp (ex pest controller).

O.k Dp said, have a good look around for a nest. If you can't see one then it could just be that there is something in there that is attracting them.
The only thing you can do is to keep spraying them yourself or call out pest controll.

At a guess how many would you say there were ???

There was about 20+ , weve manged to stem it for now. The doors to the conservatory are closed and all windows shut. We have a huge fan on as its stifling, dh has kindly taken dd for walk whilst the spray dissipates. We cant find a nest , but will keep on looking.

if you ring the council they will come, usually the same day, and locate/destroy the nest.

Oh no, poor you - defo ring the council!! Is it anything to do with the lavender bushes maybe??
