it never occurred to me as single parent family any excitement for valentine's day but my giddy dd 11 is breathless with excitement about approaching valentine's day.
I gather she has made cards for me and littler dd and something involving chocolate since the choc chips have disappeared.
So suddenly I'm wondering what on earth people do to make valentine's day an occasion for their kids?
I do always make heartshaped toast and jam but I can see dd would be over the moon if I can surprise her with something.
