Organising a 1 day conf in London - all proceeds for charity - idea of venue???

I am trying to organise a 1 day conference... I am stuck finding an AFFORDABLE venue... I found those at £600++++ for the day. I need a "nice" room for 50+ participants and we would need to organise lunch... Any idea ???
All profits to be donated but at the moment the venue and s[peakers will eat into ANY profit

How about a sports club? Usually they will have reasonable parking, a kitchen of some sort etc. Where about are you looking for?

There is the Freemasons' Hall in central london - they have loads of meeting rooms and it is a 5 min walk from Holborn station

Try looking on Camden Council's website - list by postcode for all halls and rooms for hire in their borough, loads of which are centrally-based.
