i need:

sofa's, preferably leather, am going to try and buy new, always had second hand before
have seen this for £650, which i think is quite reasonable, but does anyone know anywhere cheaper with similar or have any codes for Argos?

also need an oven, dining table and carpets, so if anyone has any discount codes for anywhere selling these, please share them with me

Have you tried land of leather for your sofa they have some great offers on, i went in to test the sofa's out & found a few comfortable ones.

ScoobyDooooo · 30/04/2007 21:31

this one here is very comfortable and a great price

J20BABY · 30/04/2007 21:32

ScoobyDooooo · 30/04/2007 21:41

Hmm we thought about argos but you can not test if the are comfortable or not so i could not buy.

When we went to land of leather there was a few online i liked but to be honest alot were uncomfortable to sit on when trying them out, the one i linked to was very comfortable i personally thought it would not be.

Won't be able to get it in cream because the deal is for brown.

ScoobyDooooo · 30/04/2007 21:43

There is only this one in cream but more expensive

J20BABY · 30/04/2007 21:43

i know

and i really want cream, they both look very similar though, apart from the £150 difference, shall i just get brown?!

J20BABY · 30/04/2007 21:45

omg, that is nearly the same but double the price of Argos!

ScoobyDooooo · 30/04/2007 21:45

We have brought the brown one, it was a choice between 2 but that one was such a good price & comfortable so we went for it, the price swayed us.

Have you looked on DFS they may have a dream one?

ScoobyDooooo · 30/04/2007 21:47

What is the size of the one in argos ?

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 30/04/2007 21:48

hey scooby i bought the one you recommended, this one

didn't think much to the sales bloke, or the fact that it wont get delivered till the end of August or the fact that its bloody £59 on the day delivery, but better than messing about and maybe not get one that cheap, and it'll also give me chance to decorate before it comes, so thanks for the link
