and is there any discount codes for new customers?

No idea about discount codes - they tend to be cheap enough without them. I've bought a car seat and a buggy from them, very quick delivery and no problems.

Boco · 29/04/2007 20:48

I've used them for a buggy and two car seats, cheapest place we could find those items, and really fast and free deliver. Have never heard of there being discount codes though.

BethAndHerBrood · 29/04/2007 20:48

Don't know about any discounts, but the service is excellent. We've used them a few times for big and small stuff, and it usually arrives in a day or two. Never had any complaints about them. Very good company, imo.

J20BABY · 29/04/2007 20:50

thanks, yes they look cheap, thought it was worth a try though

Great service, I've had various things from them including a cheap but slightly odd-coloured Volo stroller - some of their things are rather odd colours, hence the cheapness. The next carseat will probably come from there too. My only complaint is not with them but with the delivery company they use, at least round here (Glos). They won't leave in a porch or at a neighbour without prior permission, which I always forget to give, so they have to redeliver. With the stroller, they promised delivery by a certain time of day, didn't do it, we went off on holiday and came back to find the stroller in our unlocked porch!

Another pat on the back for Kiddicare from me too

Nbg · 29/04/2007 20:54

Have bought a few things from them.
They ring and leave a text message on your phone to tell you when it is being delivered

DarrellRivers · 29/04/2007 20:55

They are fab. Very quick delivery and dead cheap too. We bought our pram, buggy and cot from there - all great. The shop is huge if you are anywhere near Peterborough

Twinklemegan · 29/04/2007 21:17

Brilliant. Got a Cosatto bedside cot from them, with free delivery, for well below the RRP.

soph28 · 29/04/2007 21:21

we ordered our firstwheels from there and the first one fell off the back of the lorry and had to be sent back but I assume that's the courier's fault. They were very friendly when we were dealing with them, however the carrycot wasn't in stock so we paid for it and it was expected within 8 weeks, we were then called and told it was going to be longer. It didn't turn up so we emailed and left phone messages. Noone got back to us and eventually after 6 months we managed to get hold of someone and got a refund because we no longer required it for our 6mo dd! They had had our money the whole time too.

J20BABY · 29/04/2007 22:39

oh dear soph, thats the first bad report

I've bought a highchair, buggy and car seat from them, no problems at all.

Nikki76 · 29/04/2007 22:42

Yup, bought my Bosieboo video monitor from them - no probs at all! Very prompt delivery

mishw · 29/04/2007 22:43

I've used them lots in the past, and when they're good they're very very good but when they're bad they're horrendous!

If things go well - all is great but the last time I used them it was a nightmare. Can;t remember any details now but I vowed never to use them again and so far I haven;t

funnypeculiar · 29/04/2007 22:43

bought highchairs, car seats, buggy and numerous other bits & bobs - never had any problems - fast & efficeint

Birdly · 30/04/2007 08:52

We haven't bought online but we've been to the shop in Peterborough many times. Customer service in the shop isn't great. We've often had to wait for a long time to be served and on one visit it was almost impossible to get someone to help us. The last thing we bought from there was a car seat, and the child-woman in charge of fitting didn't seem to know very much about them, which was a real disappointment. I was asking endless questions to try to get information out of her, and it was only after about 10 mins of my heartless cross-examination that she suddenly announced the particular seat we were looking at had been recommended in the Which? magazine consumer report! Why on earth didn't she say that straight away? It was surely the seat's biggest selling point!
Having said all that, you can get a real bargain at Kiddicare - and we've had quite a few!
