Vodka ???

(guess this is why you seemed stressed on DTs out for tea thread )

PestoMonster · 27/04/2007 19:49

Don't worry, they probably won't get sick, but I usually take sucky sweets for the journey as that usually distracts them (let's face it, a little bit of extra sugar won't make a lot of difference!)

stleger · 27/04/2007 20:24

savlon wipes and bandages cure most bumps.

SlightlyMadSuperhero · 27/04/2007 21:23

Who needs a sherpa? I have DP

I'll take a bottle of vodka for tonight and one for tomorrow night if you are offering.

MrsWho · 27/04/2007 22:08

No I only said one but I'll let you off !

PestoMonster · 27/04/2007 22:44

Nice big bag/trolley on wheels to put it all in.

or
a
large
bacpack

SlightlyMadSuperhero · 27/04/2007 23:27

We will leave most of it in the car until picnic time.....we will just carry a small rucksac with the plasters, suncream & sunhats in I think.

Assurance from parents that no-one is allergic to anything?

MrsWho · 28/04/2007 16:16

How did it go?

SlightlyMadSuperhero · 28/04/2007 20:12

Surprisingly well actually.

DP went out for a (worthless) 20-30min round trip 20mins before guests were due to arrive .

I started to freak as 6 children arrived within 5 mins and DP wasn't back...covered in carseats, suncreams, jackets and hats and didn't have a clue which belonged to which child!!!

Once we got off things were really easy, used most things on the list (even the detol spray after a minor bump). The only think we wante and didn't have was paracetamol (for the grown ups!)

Right I will have that Vodka now....I'm exhausted!!!!

Think you deserve it!
