So I recently got a talk PANTS kit through the post and I must say even though I knew it was coming when it did I was still reluctant to have the talk with them.
(I say them my youngest is 18m so he wasn’t really in on it 😂 but liked colouring) I have a daughter who’s 4.
The highlight of the kit for me was the little Dino cut out (pantosaurus) I used him to talk to her and let her use him to talk to. She seemed to grasp it well. The booklet is brilliant and has really helped me explain things in a child appropriate way. We did it in steps
P- privates are private
A- always remember you belong to you
N- No means NOOO -we had great fun with this expecially the next morning when I tried to brush her hair and got Noooo mum I do not give u permission to touch my hair. Hmm
T- talk about secrets that make you sad
S- speak up someone will help

I have found it amazing !! Have any of use done this, I spoke to some mums at a parent group and they had never heard of it before. Do you think it’s a good idea ? And most of all would somthing like his help you talk to your kids about staying safe. I was so anxious but tbh I feel relieved now ...

P.s be nice Grin this is my first thread x

Dd2 watched the video (?) in school. She explained that no one is allowed to look in her pants "apart from you mummy - do you want to see my bum?" - while pulling down her jammies . Not just now pet.
