Boots or shoes with Short skirt ????

Right, i'm off out on friday night for my friends birthday.
I have brought a new skirt (rather short but i don't care), but can't decide wether to wear boots or shoes with it.

Was just wondering what you normally where with yours ???

I don't mind my legs, wouldn't say they are wonderful but in shoes and a short skirt i sometimes think my ankles look too skinny.

Meant to say, which ever it is, i have to go and buy some as i am having a shoe shortage at the mo.

Honestly Twiglett, shtye are quite skinny. They are the only thing on me that is skinny though.

Have to say, i think i'd feel more comfortable in boots, as i'll be showing enough leg as it is, don't think i wore a skirt this short as a teenager

Oh nutty, if you have skinny ankles wear boots! I think they look lovely!

(never had skinny ankles meself and now have legs approaching treetrunks so only wear trousers anyway!)

The link only took me to the Additions homepage, not to the boots. I'd say go for boots, but don't bend over if your skirt is THAT short!
And I'm speaking as one who's spent half her life inadvertently showing her knickers when p*ssed.

I don't do short skirts and I definatley don't do heels or shoey girly heels, so I'd say if you're going down the short skirt route do boots.

Ooh I'm in a bit of a minority here but oh well. Personally I think boots should be kept for winter and short skirt and summery shoes looks best in summer. There's some really pretty flip flops about too that are well trendy. And with summer shoes you get to paint your toe nails and look all girlie

I am very much into the short skirt cowboy boots tip at the mo. Think boots and short skirt is the way to go!!!

I would say definitely the boots, LOVE knee-length boots with a short skirt (and hate my legs so they cover them up nicely!!!

MI - I have a pair I can only just do up (Next, flat black ones from at least 5 yrs ago) - thanks to an elasticated gusset (dontcha love that word?) thing on the opposite side to the zip. occasionally make feeble attempt in shoe shops to try on boots but always fail

bundle - hear hear for "elasticated gussets" (definitely a nice phrase). How can you wear boots that don't have one?? Surely they're either too loose on you or cutoff your leg veins when you're dancing???
