I paid to put an advert in our local paper and ITS NOT THERE!!!! WWYD?

I'm going to phone them and tell them but what would you do about it?

Could I ask them to put it in for 2 weeks or put more in - at the end of the day I could have lost custom because of their incompetence and at the moment i really can't afford that - I couldn't afford the bloody advert but I have got to speculate to accumulate. and fed up!

have you anything in writing that it would be in this week? if so, definitely ask for 2 weeks or a better spot in the paper !

No it was done over the phone

I would phone them, and ask them to run it for free next issue (at a minimum). If I was braver I'd ask for 2 or 3 issues for free in compensation for the inconvenience and potential loss of custom from missing today's issue (especially if today is high sales day like property or jobs day...)

NO nothing only the name and phone number of the lady i spoke to. Im so fecking furious though. I've told absolutly everyone I've got an advert in this weeks paper - it makes me look like a liar and tbph I'm right at the end of my tether. I'm doing absolutly all i can to advertise and get customers, I only need 2 families to sign up with me and then i'll be full anyway. I could just cry with anger and fustration, this advert was the only hting giving me some hope this week that things will turn around now because it's a weekly paper i have to wait another week. For some reason I just don't seem to be getting anywhere and instead of enjoying the peace and quiet i'm just stressed and upset my business is failing

Ok having spoken to them, it is in there but for some reason it hasn't gone in the right place so shes going to see what she can do and call me back - i'm still so angry though, i'm literally shaking now.

She hasn't called me back I guess I should call her?
