Hi ladies,
i’m 27 weeks pregnant and my mum has sinusitis and she got prescribed co codomol but she said don’t worry to the doctor as i have some at home, she’s come home and not got any. Can i go to an pharmacy for her in the morning as she can’t drive or barely move and pick some up? even though i’m clearly pregnant too?

Yes.

Explain everything to the pharmacy assistant and tell them it's not for you, you're buying it for your mum.

I bet the Co codomol that the doctor prescribed was 30/500mg. You will only be able to buy 8/500mg over the counter.

I would ring the surgery, explain what's happened and ask for the proscription to be sent to the pharmacist for you to collect later.
