How much can you fit in the back of a ford fiesta?????????

Let me tell you - yesterday we had

2 DS's - in car seats.
Box with pushchair chasis in
Box with Carrycot
Box with Stage 1 car seat
1 box with Stairgate
1 cot mattress
and about 6 smaller plastic bags with other shopping in !

I used to have a maestro and we used to get 9 bales of hay in it I seem to take these sorts of things as a challenge and next time I want to fit more

Ooooh - someone with a fiesta!
fannyannie - do you know how to shut the bonnet?
I've tried slamming, dropping,fiddling & swearing, but it won't stay down.......

oh it wasn't me packing - it was DH and the man from kiddicare that did it.........ok it meant poor DS1 was sat in the middle with his head cocked to one side all the way back from Peterborough because the spare booster seat (hooray for the FABULOUS instore staff at Kiddicare who pointed out that Ds2 was tall enough, old enough AND heavy enough to go into a booster seat - meaning we had a wider choice of first stage car seats for DS3 when he arrives) was sticking out over the back of seats LOL.

sorry Rusty - I don't drive - it's DH.........but I can ask him when he gets in later if you like

What age one is it? Mine's a 52 plate & all I have to do is drop it (which makes a horrid noise) & it's fine.

It is pretty impressive what will fit in the boot, although can't always fit a weekly shop in but that's prob more to do with avoiding things getting squashed & not being bothered to pack it in properly!

RB I have a 1997 Fiesta and to shut the bonnet I have to press down hard (two hands job) on the front of the bonnet at the middle.

I'll try right in the middle with two hands vimfuego.
Then maybe I'll sit on it - that should do it
It's a 53 reg btw

IT'S SHUT!!!!!
I tried the two hands thing & it stayed down for a second or two before popping up again.
Then I fiidled with the catch inside for the fifteenth time & then I dropped it - and it stayed own.
