oh noooooo.next door are at it again with the effing karaoke.

they used to do it every week when we first moved here,and to cut a long story shor i ended up getting in touch with Environmental health and they got a warning and it stopped for ages.but last saturday they were at it again,screeching down a microphone till 1am,so loud it could be heard all through my house.

now ive just heard the kids in the back street talking about doing it again tonight.i cant be bothered,i have 5 children in bed,one of whom is only 6 weeks old.

why are people so bloody inconsiderate?

Aw, you poor love! Have they actually started singing yet?

Why not set up your own karaoke for the kids at about 6.30am in the morning?

Alternatively, I'd get back onto enviromental health about it - problems like this with neighbours can seriously affect your mental health.

Oh diva how awful for you. Will the kids wake or will it just be you affected? Obviously that's bad enough but I can recommend foam ear plugs. You get them in chemists or more cheaply on ebay.

not yet.i wouldnt mind if it was early evening but when its from 10-1 or 2am it takes the p**s.the kids are only aged 7-14,its not like its a houseful of students or something.

it has woken the kids in the past.my ds2 gets up about 6am everyday and i suppose hes quite noisy,but i think theres a difference between a baby crying and 3 year olds shouting-ie,noise you cant help,and doing really loud karaoke.
