Surrey Wedding reception venue ideas

I'm in the process of looking for wedding venues around the Surrey areas, preferably Guildford/dorking/Epsom/Kingston areas....I'm willing to spend a fair amount but not too much, anybody had weddings around this area? Where did you have them? Thanks

Great Fosters may ok if you are at a function, but if you are an ordinary guest while the function's on it's shite. Too few, not very well trained staff, under huge pressure and not able to cope with anything else it would seem. This has happened to me three times, and I have only been there three times.

The last was on honeymoon because we had an early morning flight from LHR. The manager said "sorry you feel like that" as the classic non-apology. Couldn't give a monkey's. We are reluctant complainers as it happens.

If you are having the function there this may no put you off, I suppose I'm addressing this more generally.
