Yes, somewhere quieter would be good, although I suspect the Malta Inn isn't that loud every night. Who was who said that Thursday is the new Friday? Perhaps a Wednesday then? Happy to travel further afield if that suits others more though.

Have just returned from Ashburton Freckle - 12 miles from the coast - we stayed on a working farm site and the kids loved it - so did we TBH. More sunshine would have been nice though!

My DH and I are considering the possibility of moving back to Broadstairs from London (after 15 years away for me!!) Are there many toddler groups etc. Do you get out much? Would there be anybody who would be up for meeting and having a chat?

Thanks to my SIL (enid) I think I started sometime after ds1 was born and he's 4 at the end of October. Been in Rusthall since Jan02. London prior to that. Moved here for dh's job. He's a consultant anaesthetist at the Queen Vic Hospital in East Grinstead.

I live about 15mins from broadstairs too, havent got a clue about toddler groups though

Definately! I went to Herne bay to get my car fixed a few weeks ago - we had a lovely time on the seafront (trampolines etc) My two loved that music thing where you put a penny in and the characters come out of the doors!

i know that is so funny. A nun gave my two some money to put in it but my two looked completely dazed by it! You dont know a good plumber do you Tessiebear? i am having major plumbing problems atm and I have only lived here in kent for 3 months, so am hopeless with knowing who to have and who not to iykwim

You must tell me the next time you are here or we could plan something else? i dont drive but i know the train goes down to broadstairs from here so anywhere accessable would be fine
