If you were really clever...........what would you invent?

As a mum for 9mths now, i am feeling quite cocky and earth mothery! Been there, done that! But i can't help thinking there are some items missing from the market, or maybe available products that need tweeking a little.
For example, i have bought DD about 6 diffeerent cups to drink from, all slightly different and all flawed! I need a light-weight cup, with no valve, handles, preferably orange so that it doesn't get stained when eating spag bol(!) that has an automatic tipping device!
Other ideas i have are:

• socks that stay on (did think about getting a press stud piercing on DD ankles!) and don't taste very nice.
• a dummy that expands in the mouth, therefore stopping babe spitting it out!
• a nappy bin that doesn't smell awful after a day of use! Do i need to get out more?

no fee, you don't need to get out more, you need to stay in and ring the patent office - DS2 is 8.5 months, I will buy all of the above
And a volume control too!

Something that bought the washing in as soon as it started to rain!

I would invent a way of incubating babies in a glass jar so women didn't have to be pregnant and give birth. I'm sure it wouldn't be impossible.

-A new nursery system that allowed parents to pay realistic fees! It's cheaper to send kids to university than to the nursery!

I would like someone to invent an umbrella that attaches to a pushchair for me to stay dry. I don't look good in hoods and can't seem to carry a brolly and manoeuvre the pushchair at the same time!

I'd invent a giant speaker that 'sensed' when you didn't have a kid but had parked in the parent and child space and announced it to the whole car park LOUDLY!

and punctured their tyres

a book called "How to make it rich without having to spend years trying" a formula that would guarantee a foolproof way of netting a fast bucks so you didn't have to worry about paying your bills again!!!!!!!!!!!

A washing machine that scooped up all the dirty clothes, washed, dried and ironed them and put them all back into the correct cupboards. And if it could change the beds as well, that would be good!

If you need to get out more Fee, then so do I. I fantasise about creating:

An ironing machine that would do all dp's boring shirts.
Self-cleaning nappies.
Toys that tidy themselves up, or sound a deafening alarm when dropped down back of settee.
100% organic, vitamin enriched, and therefore non-guilt inducing, sleeping potion for un-tired children.
Blackout curtains that fit our abnormally large windows.
Food that looks and tastes like McDonalds but is actually good for kids. And comes with a non-crappy toy.

I would, of course, devote myself to inventing all these things if I wasn't too busy being such a good mother (ahem).

A machine who tells my husband to put the coffe eaway and jump to catch the baby before he falls.

A machine that lets you know if certain men are interested or not, and one for you to tell them you are. All that without talking so we can all stop guessing

I would invent another me.

Thought of another one - entertaining supermarket trolleys so DD doesn't keep dropping her toys around the shop, and then we have to retrace our steps!
I love angeliz idea. Maybe they could be sprayed with a non-removable paint as well so that every one will know how inconsiderate they have been!
