Help! I need a good cleaner in West London.

I am fed up with my cleaner and really need a new one. I just can't bear the thought of going through a string of them to find a good one. Please, if anyone has a recommendation could you let me know. I'm in Acton. I will pay the going rate and need someone 1 full day a week. There is lots of cleaning, a little laundry and virtually no ironing.

did you try the person i recommended before - she is based sw london but may travel?

I didn't as I seem t remember that you said her english wasn't very good. I really need someone who either speaks english or a language that I speak (italian, french spanish...portuguese is ok) so that I can give her instructions by phone. My current cleaner is lithuanian and besides not being very good, is poor on english and since we don't overlap by much in the morning, I am finding it difficult training her or leaving even the most basic instructions (ie please clean under ALL the beds).
If I've got the english thing wrong, please let me know and I will definitely contact her.

I have a great Brazilian cleaner who was recommended by a couple of other mumsnetters. Her English is good enough to talk on the phone, leave notes etc. She's very conscientious and works hard for the full time I pay her for. I think she may still have some free time so if you're interested send me a mail via CAT and I'll give you her details.
I think she's actualy based near Paddington but she comes to me in Fulham quite happily so I'm sure she can manage Acton.
