At least you and Dd2 are ok, lol at your neighbour thinking your drunk

Could have been worse, you could have been opening it to the health visitor and got a lecture on safety

We've all done it!

It seemed to take so long to hit the ground - just made it more humiliating

awwww that happened to me a while back was carrying DS6 down the stairs as he was asleep and miss 'stepped'..managed to save his head by putting my hand underneath....but i really hurt everywhere....it so happens in slow motion too....and the shock afterwards...i was so stunned ..couldnt move for what seemed like ages!...all my other son (6) who was already down the stairs could say was 'oh great-kyran is gonna winge again now'.....thanks son..thanks for the concern....

But i hope you are feeling ok!

I have done the exact same thing. Dh was away with work and i was carrying ds2 and I tripped on a toy on the floor and fell smack onto a wooden floor. I was really upset because i think i got a huge fright, its my worst nightmare to fall when dh is away. ds2 was fine and unscathed but I was sore and stiff for days.

hope you are okay x

I'm feeling a little less foolish now - thanks
