What's Wivenhoe like please?

My friend has lived there for almost 2 years and bought a new house with some excellent views!

Wivenhoe is a lovely arty, studenty, hippy place to live

Quite a village type feeling (depending on which part you are in)

Nice pubs, walks, sailing, woods, etc

handy info.ta very much. I'd heard as such but thought it would be good to get an Mnet lowdown... we've been to visit various places and they haven't been quite right. another place for our list I reckon!

from London (south). Want to be near the sea (or at least water) and somewhere more peaceful. Good schools etc... do you like where you live PradaAngel?
